Green Tea ExtractThe Mayo Clinic recently funded a trial using the extract from Green Tea to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The chemical extract known as epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG) was used on 33 leukemia patients. The results of this study concluded that all patients taking the extract showed some degree of disease regression. Most lymph nodes were reduced in size by 50%.
